Starting from Zero was a creative research project exploring access to arts and culture for disabled artists and cultural workers during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. Led by Berlinklusion, the project combined survey-based research with artistic responses, including poster interventions across Berlin, a text-based audio play, and a downloadable written analysis.

Through visual art, storytelling, and public engagement, Starting from Zero invited reflection on how cultural access shifted during the pandemic and posed critical questions about what kind of future we want to build. The project emphasized that access is political—and that lasting change must be shaped by the lived experiences of disabled artists.
