You Are Not Invited was a protest action and ‘un-exhibition’ created by Berlinklusion at Haus der Statistik in 2019. In response to the space’s physical and structural inaccessibility, the project critiqued the gentrifying effects of temporary cultural use and the exploitative working conditions often faced by disabled artists within so-called inclusive urban development initiatives.

Rather than host a conventional exhibition in a venue that excluded many, Berlinklusion used the space on their own terms—collaborating only within the limits of what was accessible and comfortable to their bodies. The result was a one-day experimental installation exploring interconnectedness and inaccessibility, documented online as a form of creative protest.
